Yeah, we've all got our typical resolutions, but I have one that I am determined to make permanent: Train myself to become a side-sleeper. I am currently a stomach-sleeper, and while I love that position I am afraid it may cause me back problems in the future. I originally was going to try to become a back-sleeper, but after thorough scientific research on the internet (see picture), I have learned the side-fetal position is best. How should I do this? I'm thinking of taping a tennis ball to my tshirt. That should do the trick. Any other ideas?

Um... I got carpal tunnel and so now I have to sleep on my left side to keep my hans from going numb and burning. But I wouldn't suggest that. Body pillows help you from rolling.
I am a fully committed side-sleeper now, after having been a stomach-sleeper for many years. It's wonderful. There are times when I'm sure I'm not tired but I just get into my side position and focus and BAM I'm asleep. You've made a good resolution.
I would agree with the comment above. Any sort of pillow will suffice, but the body pillow is the best for starting a new habit.
Good luck!
