Blueberries

I clean a lady's house once a week. It is my only source of income. I enjoy it because she is a very sweet lady, and I like hearing her stories. She often gives me some sort of cookie to eat, but today it was blueberry bread. I didn't have the heart to tell her that I HATE blueberries, especially cooked ones (fruit should NEVER be cooked). So I choked down what I could and sneakily threw the rest of it away.

So here's my question: Am I justified in telling people straight out that I'm allergic to blueberries? I do gag on them and they give me the chills. What has to happen to the body for it to be considered an allergic reaction? Inflammation? Throw up? because I think I can do that one.

Adam is also super picky about fruit. But not only does he not like cooked fruit, he doesn't like a lot of fresh fruit either. One of the main ones being peaches. I think he just tells people that he doesn't like it. Even on his mission he would tell people that. Rude? Probably! But then, if you knew him, you would realize that no one can possibly be mad at him for very long so he can get away with it.
