I am in love with the Amazing Race. Competition, running, clue deciphering, traveling....what's not to love?
So for my birthday my roommate made up our own Amazing Race Denver. It was so fun! And so authentic. She even gave us backpacks like on the race, pull tab clues, a mat to jump on at the end....Awesome.
My favorite part was when we had not read the entire clue and had missed getting some information at Barnes and Noble we needed at the end of the race. We hurried back, got there at 9:03 to learn that it closed at 9:00. We were pretty dramatic about it, yelling "NO! We're going to lose the race!" in the middle of the 16th Street Mall on a Saturday night. A couple people around were starring at us saying "yeah, I think they really are... Hey, are you guys really on the Amazing Race?"
Love it! Thanks Di!
I can't wait until I'm on the real deal - right Liz?? We're totally going to win.

If you do make it on Amazing Race, I hope we don't go on the same season, because my dad and I would destroy you.
(Note: I didn't mention Torrie in my comment. I would probably go with my dad before her. He would be a better Amazing Race partner. I hope she doesn't read this.)
Ummm.....AMAZING! She just put CE8 to shame!
Hope you had a great day!
We would totally win...no competition!
Happy belated birthday! I'm a bad friend. But I love just the same. And we would cheer for you on Amazing Race. Let us know when you make it. (How's that for positive thinking!)
