Emergency - (e-murr-gen-see); noun.An occurrence, usually sudden, that requires immediate medical attention.
Note: Your condition is probably not emergent if any of the following applies.
You stop off on your way to the ER for food.
You have time to pack a suitcase full of clothes and electronic gadgets in case you are admitted.
You call ahead to ask who the on-call doctor is.
You have felt the exact same way the whole day but decide to come in at 2 am "because you had things to do earlier".
You haven't tried anything on your own first such as Tylenol for a fever.
Your fever is 99.6 degrees, or 100.7 degrees, or even 102.9 degrees.
You say your pain is 10/10 but then fall asleep on the gurney before you get pain medication because it's 3am.

love the post...maybe a "real" er would be more interesting, but probably not as funny.
bwahaha! Love it. Personal definitions are the best, especially from experience. Sounds like you're having "fun".
