Tired of Being Tired

You may be sleep deprived if:

You leave your key in the front door.

You pour yourself a bowl of cereal, but the milk in the cabinet, the box of cereal in the fridge, and leave to bowl on the counter.

You drink Dr Pepper for breakfast.

You aren't sure if you are nauseated or hungry.

You burst into tears like a baby because all you want to do is sleep. Forever.

While driving up to a stop light your thought process goes something like this:
What color is that light?
Green.
Green lights mean you can go through them.
You don't have to move your right foot.

You will be prepared for motherhood when that time comes. Things I've done: Worn peed-on pants all day because I was too tired to change them, keys? what are keys? where are they? no where. I can't remember words like, well hard words.

I hear ya on the Dr Pepper for breakfast.

Or you get in the shower, start washing your face and realize you forgot to take off your glasses.

Or can't remember if you ate.

You walk into the bathroom 10 minutes after you walked out because you knew at some point you needed to relieve yourself but can't remember if you actually did.

The adult briefs seem like a good idea if it means you don't have to wake up to pee in the middle of your 3 hour sleeping time.

English becomes a foreign language.
