I like football, I really do. But the Superbowl, for me, isn't so super when you don't have any attachment to the teams that are playing, or any of the players for that matter. I almost forgot that it was this weekend. Sure, it would be nice to see the Cardinals win a Superbowl, I guess, but in actuality, I'm completely indifferent to both teams, their quarterbacks, or any of their players. It just is not the same without any emotions on the line. I almost think it better for a team that I loathe to be going so I would at least have someone to cheer against. I should have cheered for the Chargers to win all their playoff games just so I could see their hopes rise and then come crumbling down when they are defeated in their biggest game of the year. Bwa ha ha! But it isn't that way, so I'll hope for at least an intense, maybe controversial, game this weekend.
