I was in Barnes and Noble the other day (one of my favorite stores) and spent a good amount of time in the science section looking at an organic chemistry book. I was trying to see if, 3 years later, I could remember how to read NMR spectroscopy. I didn't buy the book, but am tempted to go back and do so. You may not think chemistry to be the most practical use of free time, but I'm certain it will be in the long run.
I mean, after all...
