Working nights has completely messed up my sleeping schedule. I have slept a total of 2.5 hours in the past 31, and still cannot fall asleep. I figure being productive would be better than staring at the ceiling, but because of my undiagnosed ADD, I am most effective when rotating several activities. Here is where you come in. Any productive ideas?
So far I am:
1. Learning Italian (Vivrò lì un giorno - is that close?)
2. Memorizing scriptures
3. Watching Sports Center (there's only so much you can watch before it starts repeating, plus most of it is still baseball...)
4. Planning my wedding (sure hope my tastes don't change in the next 10 years, and no... I'm not crazy)
5. Painting (that goes slowly because most the time I don't know what to paint)
Your turn.

I have the exact same problem. I take Melatonin and the majority of the time it helps. Try reading a book or doing something repetitive like knitting, crochet, or cross-stitch. I know you're not really the sit and sew type person, but the repetitive motion soothes and lulls the brain. I listen to old BYU devotionals or General Conference talks while I sew and usually within an hour I can stumble into my room and pass out.
Hope this helps.
You should join pinterest! I can waste tons of time doing that...it's cool! Oh and Rosetta Stone is on sale right now for $150! It's usually like $400! I am so tempted to get it in Italian!
Have you ever thought about doing some service, say for instance, washing somebody's car or renewing their parking pass? Just some thoughts.
L'hai detto perfettamente! Parli italiano gia!
