I am learning just how quirky small towns can be. Tonight I read the local paper. In between the recipes pulled off of bettycrocker.com, the high school's basketball schedule, and the Christmas stories written by locals that had more typos than BYU's Daily Universe were these great tidbits:
Charlie, Marlys and Mark Allis went to meet with Laura and had lunch together.
Maxine had open heart surgery and is doing well.
Don and Joyce has visitors this week. They ate chili.
Rick spent Thursday with his mother Erma.
David took Chance to Colorado Springs for his 6 month check up.
Jan and Trudy were Colorado Springs shoppers on Saturday.

you'll know you've made it when you make it into that paper. ha ha!
Sometimes I really, really miss living in a small town!! :)
sounds like our paper. People knew I had a son who ran CC as soon as they heard my name
how funny. sounds like the town gossip doubles as the reporter/publisher/paper boy.
What??? Seriously, someone took the time to write those? I'm glad you took the time to type them, that was a good laugh!
