Colorado Drivers

Everyone seems to think that the best drivers come from the state they grew up in. So naturally I think Colorado drivers are descent. I mean, from the age of 16, we learn to drive in feet of snow; we must be good. But recently I have heard complaints from my friends who grew up in other states.

Their complaint? Colorado drivers don't pull out into the intersection on a green light to make a left hand turn when there is a break or when the light turns yellow. I didn't believe the first complaint, but another person mentioned it to me on a separate occasion.

After a couple months of observation, I concur that there are a disturbing amount of Colorado drivers who don't pull out in the intersection, and then don't even attempt to turn left on a yellow light.

They must have grown up in another state.

I don't think they are people that grew up in a different state; I think they are people that don't want to die by being T-boned by the oncoming traffic running the yellow light. Just my theory...
